Robotics Competition

Robocup Junior is a project-oriented educational initiative that supports local, regional and international robotic events for young students. RCJ events taking entries of hundreds of thousands of schools globally and giving chance to young minds to represent their skills in robotics technologies, programming, building, problem solving, team and time management.

Sirius College Meadow Fair (Our Campus) participated in the Australian event in RCJA Victoria State Finals, in two different divisions and in soccer competitions, Standard and Simple Simon League. One of our teams, Robomadrid in Simple Simon league, competed against 12 table and 48 teams in total. Robomadrid played excellent and passed the group stages and qualified to play in quarter-semi finals. Robomadrid completed the tournament around 6th spot out of 48 teams in their first appearance in the tournament. Congratulations to our year 7 boys Kamal, Berkay, Sadiq and Haidar for their efforts to make Robomadrid successful.

We have also two of our other teams, RUDAN and LUCKY STRIKE, in standard league run against 25 teams in 5 different table and they both passed group stages as well. Both teams played and did their best in quarterfinals and lost to very competitive teams and champions of the tournament. Thanks our Year 9 (Amaan, Farhan, Haysam and Taner) and 10 boys (Ruben and Adan) for putting effort to reaching up to top 8 teams in Victoria and wishing them to do better in following years.

Special thanks to our year 11 boys Burak Celebi and Tugay Baser, for sharing their experiences and being a referee for RCJA Victoria Finals Soccer tournament. As it is obvious that not everybody can be a referee in such a big event, it also shows that how RCJA Committee trust Sirius College Meadow Fair in judgement section.

Thanks boys for making us proud once again.
